TR Robertson – Sunday on Main Street of Vista Village Shopping Center was the scene of an abundance of Halloween costumes as people enjoyed the 6th Annual Pride of Vista Lions Club Muscles on Main Street Trunk or Treat Car Show. Not only were the attendees to the car show decked out in costumes but the car owners and many of the cars were in the Halloween spirit with decorations and pots full of Halloween candy to hand out. Some of the best sports cars, classic cars and trucks, and hot rods were on display with awards given out later in the day. A list of winners is at the end of this article. One award this year is the Lions Choice Award in the name of Ron Leaf, a long-time Pride of Vista Lions Club member who passed away.
Prizes were also handed out for the best Halloween costumes for adults, children and pets. Pride of Vista Lions Club Vice President, Dennis Jenkins, designed and donated the trophies. Halloween music was provided by DJ Tony as those attending wandered Main Street. There were several tables set up for the Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary, the Pride of Vista Lions Club, The Repair Tech and the numerous prizes being offered as Raffle prizes to lucky winners. Info for the Animal Sanctuary can be found at www.fallbrookanimalsantuary.org. The Sanctuary was awarded the 2022 California Nonprofit of the Year. The Pride of Vista Lions Club also handed out free Dog Park maps listing all the places in this area dog owners can take their dogs.
