Seasonal festival promises an afternoon filled with flavors, fun, and philanthropy
San Diego, CA – Home Start, a nonprofit dedicated to preventing child abuse and strengthening families, will host its 19th Annual Hallo-Wine Fall Festival on Saturday, October 17th from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The anticipated seasonal event will take place in Point Loma on the lawn of a stunning private estate with sweeping ocean views.
Hallo-Wine is a festive afternoon of exceptional food, handcrafted beverages, and meaningful connections, all in support of San Diego’s most vulnerable children and families. Guests will wander through tasting stations to sample some of San Diego’s favorite restaurants, boutique wineries, local breweries, and mocktail establishments. The festival will also have live music, an exciting opportunity drawing, and even hidden surprises throughout, including a speakeasy.
Every year, a highlight of the event is a powerful story of hope shared by a Home Start program participant, reminding us all how compassion, generosity, and community can transform lives. Hallo-Wine is a chance to connect with fellow supporters and enjoy the relaxed, seasonal atmosphere that makes the event a community favorite.
Held every October in recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Hallo-Wine Fall Festival raises critical funds to support Home Start’s programs that provide life-changing assistance to children, families, and individuals across the region. Every dollar raised goes towards behavioral health care, housing support, family strengthening programs, and other critical resources for children and families across San Diego County.
This year’s presenting sponsors are Guild Mortgage, Pack Foundation, and TCW Global. Tickets are on sale now for $120. Every ticket includes food and wine samples, a keepsake tasting glass, and ride share discount or valet. Sponsorship and underwriting opportunities are also available.
