A Message from the CEO
We were recently awarded a SOAR award at the Boys & Girls Club of America’s Pacific Regional Conference for our exceptional Board engagement and strategic vision. We’re one of just twenty Clubs that have won annually for the past 5 or so years, but this humble little dynasty isn’t counting- we’re too busy changing lives.
We received our recent youth outcome measurement survey, a 3rd-party assessment that measures our Club members’ attitudes toward academics, Club experience and other key metrics. We’re delighted to announce that 92% of Vista Club members believe they can do well in school. 88% already know what kind of career they want to pursue! 100% of our Club members are awesome and deserve high fives- that last data bit was from my informal CEO survey.
A big takeaway from the conference was the positive impact Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide have collectively on Club alumni. 60% of Club alumni are more likely to be working full time than their peers. Nearly ¾ of Club alumni state that they’re financially better off than their parents. Boys & Girls Clubs are force multipliers for more great futures.

Behind the Blue Door
STEM Club- Build Your Own Robot!
Our STEM Club members are putting their engineering skills to the test as they design and build their very own robots. From assembling parts to solving challenges and bringing their creations to life, Club members are learning the basics of engineering, problem-solving, and technology—all while having a blast!
Through hands-on STEM experiences like this, our youth are encouraged to think creatively, try new ideas, and discover that they can be builders, innovators, and future engineers.
STEM Club- Mini Volcanos
Things got a little explosive in STEM Club! Our Club members had a blast creating their very own mini volcanoes and watching science come to life. Through this hands-on experiment, youth explored chemical reactions, made predictions, and discovered what happens when different materials combine to create an exciting eruption.
Activities like these make learning fun, interactive, and unforgettable—while inspiring our Club members to stay curious and ask, “What happens if…?”
Athletics
It’s off to a great start with VIDA and Vista Magnet as the two undefeated teams in the Coast Conference! Both teams are setting the pace early in the season, bringing strong performances and plenty of excitement to the competition. With the season just getting underway, we’re looking forward to seeing how the conference race unfolds!

What an incredible day for our community!
Thanks to the community’s amazing support, this year’s Golf Tournament raised more than $50,000 to help provide youth in our community with a safe place to belong, grow, and enjoy fun, hands-on learning experiences.
We appreciate everyone who showed up bright and early for a day of non-stop fun! From the morning warm-up and DJ setting the vibe to chipping contests, strawberry corn hole, special beverages, exciting raffles, and plenty of delicious stops for breakfast sandwiches, ice cream, hot dogs, snacks, and a taco bar, the fun was around every corner.
The course was buzzing with laughter, friendly competition, great company, and the incredible energy of a community coming together for our kids.

Kids for Country
Hosted By Vista Palomar Riders
Kids for Country brought culture, community, and western heritage together for an unforgettable evening benefiting Boys & Girls Club of Vista youth. Guests enjoyed the high-energy sounds of the Chris Weaver Band, silent and live auctions, mechanical bull riding, cow bingo, and more, all while raising critical funds to support Club programs.
The event also celebrated our ongoing partnership with Vista Palomar Riders, who continue to provide youth with unique educational experiences featuring skilled riders and horses while connecting the next generation to Vista’s rich western history and heritage
