Marks said, “As your elected advocate, my office is laser-focused on ensuring San Diegans, especially our veterans, receive every possible property tax saving possible to make homeownership more affordable. My office is No. 1 in California for serving our disabled veterans and their families. In 2026, we delivered over $40 million in property tax savings to our San Diego County veteran families because making their homeownership more affordable is my way of honoring their service and sacrifice.”
According to Marks, 22,817 disabled veterans and surviving spouses in San Diego County received $40.8 million in total property tax savings during the 2025-2026 tax year.
