Dance Argentine tango as the sun sets over the Pacific Ocean. Two blocks south of the Oceanside Pier on the Strand, receive an introductory lesson at 5 p.m.followed by dancing from 6-7:30 p.m. This weekly event is free and open to all skill levels.

The second Wednesday of each month from 5-8 p.m., the South O Walkabout is a walking festival showcasing the unique and independent businesses in South Oceanside with complimentary treats, live entertainment and shop specials. Extending from Whaley Street to south of Vista Way, the easy walk is about 0.4 miles each way.
Participants will check in at 8 a.m., enjoy a light breakfast and head out into the community to participate on different service projects. Outdoor and indoor projects are available. Families are welcome to serve together. This day of service is a collaboration with North County San Diego NAACP and MiraCosta College Service Learning Center.
