Woman of the Year

March is Women’s History Month during which we recognize and reflect on the incredible contributions that women have made to make our state and our country a better place. During Women’s history month, as a legislature, we look within our own districts to highlight the women who are the pillars of our community and name one “Woman of the Year.” It was my privilege to introduce the Woman of the Year in my district, Paula Jansen of Lakeside, to the State Senate on March 12… Click to read more

This job requires intelligence, the highest level of organizational skills, persistence, and an absolute can-do attitude. I am proud to share that my Scheduler, Heather Koszka, was one of the two presenters at the recent Senate scheduler training and shared her knowledge with schedulers that serve other State Senators… Click to read more
