The Lady White Tigers of Escondido Charter defeated the Firebirds of Pacific Ridge by a 44-34 score. For the Lady Firebirds Grace Li led with 14 points and 13 by Reid Dinning.
In a girls basketball contest for the Mayors Trophy of Oceanside 21 points by Ariel Smallwood and 13 by Aliyah Anderson paced the Lady Wildcats of El Camino improve their record at 15-5 as they defeated the Lady Pirates of Oceanside by a 66-20 score. For the Lady Pirates 6 each by Janae Henry, Talila Thompson and Meeya Beneda.
Boy’s Basketball
17 points by Devon Arlington, 13 by Elijah Randall and 10 by Will Corbin paced the Knights of San Marcos to a 53-50 win over the Grizzlies of Mission Hills.In a boys contest for the Mayors Trophy of Oceanside the El Camino Wildcats defeated the Pirates of Oceanside by a 58-41 score. Keavi Love led the Wildcats with 20 points and 16 by Tyson Robinson. For the Pirates, Clyde Harris led with 17 points and Kam Beacham contributed with 12.
