David Willauer — The red hot Longhorns from Rancho Buena Vista improve their record at 21-3 and currently ride a 4 game win streak on the season behind the 22 point performance of Noah Fields, 12 by Patrick McLachlan and 9 by Zee Willis defeated the Pirates of Oceanside by a 57-54 score.  Kam Beacham led with 15 points and Cesar Sosa contributed with 12.

Santa Fe Christian defeated Army Navy Academy by a 74-62 score.  Army Navy was led by Albert Pichardo with 19 points and Cobey Hanaway contributed with 13.

Women Basketball

Girls Basketball

Baylee Uelietone 26 point performance paced the Lady Eagles of Tri City Christian to a 56-33 win over Maranatha Christian.
25 points by Mikalya Balt and 18 by Corrina DeJong paced the Lady Crusaders of Calvin Christian to a 52-33 win over Escondido Charter.
13 points by Bianca Barron and 12 by Emani Simeon paced the Lady Knights of San Marcos High School to a 51-37 win over Canyon Crest.
The Lady Firebirds of Pacific Ridge behind Grace Li’s 16 points defeated the Lady Hawks of Escondido Adventist by a 37-21 score.

Boy’s Basketball

Former Vista Panther alum Isaiah Morris scored 2 points for Cal State Dominquez Hills as they fell to Cal State Los Angeles 77-57.

Former Vista alum Taurus Samuels scored 13 points for the Big Green of Dartmouth as they fell to the Harvard Crimson 64-59.

Former El Camino alum Devin Watson scored 13 points for San Diego State in their 66-62 loss vs. Fresno State.  Vs. UNLV Devon Watson contributed with 15 points in the 94-77 win.

Former Army Navy alum Caleb Morris scored 5 points for Air Force Academy in their 74-60 win over Boise State.  Vs. San Jose in the 73-71 win Caleb Morris scored 12 points.
Former Mission Hills alum Warren Washington scored 2 points for the Oregon State Beavers in their 90-77 win over the Cougars of Washington State.  Oregon vs. Washington and again he scored 2 points in the Beavers as they fell 79-69 to the Huskies

The Comets of Palomar are currently riding a 7 game losing streak in men’s basketball as they fell to San Bernardino Valley College by a 92-61 score.  Jamario Harris led vs. San Bernardino Valley with 25 points, 13 points by former El Camino product Michael Chatman.

On Friday, January 25, 2019, the Comets of Palomar were defeated by Mount San Jacinto by a 97-71 score.  Jamario Harris led with 23 points, 13 each by former Torrey Pines Falcon Marek Sullivan and former El Camino alum Michael Chatman, 12 points by Anthony Smith.
The Palomar Lady Comets behind 13 points by Clarissa Tate 12 points by former San Marcos alum Dee Dee Valenzuela and former Mission Hills alum Sara Ahmadpour defeated San Bernardino College by a 91-34 score.
