Willauer-Contributing Writer-Duke Snider Field-Fallbrook High School-Fallbrook, CA-Monday, April 1, 2019-The Fallbrook Warriors known for their comebacks pulled off a big one today after trailing the Ramona Bulldogs by a 2-0 score, it all happened in the bottom of the 4th inning as cleanup hitter Brady Hoff went 2 for 2 in the game with 1 single, had his moment in the ballgame as he lined a triple near the fence in left center field for and knocked in 3 RBI’s to go up 3-2 and scored the 4th run on pinch hitter’s Joel Fromal’s RBI single to go up 4-2.

Pat Walker Co- Head Baseball Coach of Fallbrook High: “Starting pitcher Zack Allegro lost some of his composure on the mound but regained his composure and threw strikes, he did a good job.” “Brady Hoff did a good job It has been something for our squad that we needed all year long which is key hitting in various situations, Brady Hoff came through for us as we scored three runs on his 3 RBI triple and scored on a pinch hitter Joel Fromal.”
Brody Hoff on keying Fallbrook to win: “In the early part of the innings we weren’t playing as a team not doing what we were supposed to by not making plays. I was battling some off speed pitches for the game winner for the triple when I hit a fastball right up the middle took it for a ride. We scored 4 runs to go up 4-2 in the bottom of the 5th along with 2 more runs in the bottom of the 6th, I was focusing on relief pitcher Harrison Brown on the mound and got the key outs that we needed to.”
The Warriors in the bottom of the sixth scored on 2 more runs by Alex Lopez and Josue Navarro to make the final score 6-2 in favor of Fallbrook as their record improves to 6-8.
These two school will play in a Saturday doubleheader at Ramona at 11:30 pm and 1:30 pm
