David Willauer —Baseball 
In a baseball doubleheader that was played on the campus of baseball powerful LSU known as Louisiana State University 2 local North County athlete made headlines.  Former Vista Panther Corey Lee went 2 for 3 with a single, an RBI and scored 1 run along with Cal teammate and former Sage Creek alum Sam Wesniak went 0 for 2 with an RBI as the Bears defeated LSU in the first game by a 5-2 score.

In the second game of a doubleheader the Tigers of LSU won by a 5-4 score.  Former Vista Panther alum Corey Lee went 1 for 2 with a double and a 1 run scored.  Former Sage Creek alum Sam Wezniak went 1 for 3 with a single in the contest.
Former Carlsbad Lancer   Connor Lunn recorded his first save for the Trojans of USC as they defeated Michigan 4-1.
Former Lacosta Canyon Maverick Ryan Orr went 0 for 3 with 1 walk and 1 run score for San Diego State as they defeated Nevada Reno 8-5

Former San Marcos alum Ricardo Lizarraga went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and 1 run scored for Imperial Valley as they fell to San Bernardino College 5-3.

Former San Marcos alum Dominick Buso went 0 for 3 with 2 walks 1 RBI and scored 2 runs for Mesa College as they defeated Grossmont 12-0.
Former Army Navy alum Caleb Morris scored 9 points for the Air Force Falcons as they fell to the Nevada Wolfpack 90-79.  vs. Boise State as they were defeated 80-52 Caleb Morris scored 9.
Former Vista alum Taurus Samuels scored 6 points for Dartmouth as they fell to Columbia 70-66.
Former Mission Hills alum Kayla Rooks playing for Washington in the Pac 12 Women’s Basketball Tournament scored 4 points in the 64-54 win over Utah.

Former El Camino Wildcat Devon Watson scored 14 points for San Diego State as they fell to Nevada Reno by a score of 81-53.

Former San Marcos Knight Jacob Blas went 0 for 4 for Arizona as they fell to Charleston Southern 10-6.
Former Carlsbad Lancer Connor McKenna went 1 for 4 with a single for Oklahoma as they defeated Rice 3-0.
