This hilarious Mel Brooks comedy based on his hit 1968 film about a down-on-his-luck Broadway producer and a mild-mannered accountant who hatch a scheme to produce the worst Broadway play in history bilking the investors out of millions. There’s only one problem. Their plan backfires and they produce a hit!
July 17 – August 3
Inspired by the twisted genius of Roald Dahl, this Tony Award-winning new Broadway musical receives its San Diego Regional Premiere at The Moonlight. Packed with high energy dance numbers and catchy songs, Matilda is a joyous girl power romp that centers around a young girl with very special powers. This spectacles revels in the anarchy of childhood and celebrates the power of imagination.

August 14 – 31
Something’s coming, something good, in this great American musical that changed Broadway forever. On the gritty streets of 1950s New York City, rival gangs strut their stuff and when a Jet boy falls for a Shark girl, the stage is set for a street rumble. This classic re-telling of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is a love affair for the ages that remains as relevant today as ever.
victor victoria
Septmeber 11 – 28
Broadway World proclaims that Victor/Victoria “has all the panache and sizzle of Chicago, the colorful character line-up of Guys and Dolls, and the farcical comedy of Noises Off.” Based on the hit 80s film from Blake Edwards, this dazzling musical about a down-on-her-luck singer who takes the Paris nightclub scene by storm, by masquerading as a man, will feature the Broadway sets and costumes.
